Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP)

The KAME SCTP distribution also now supports a native SCTP patch for Apple MAC. Please see the downloads page for more details!

SCTP now comes to you via satellite until DSL becomes available. This means you must be patient when downloading files since there is an additional 550ms RTT for TCP packets which causes interesting side effects. The uplink speed is 100kbps, so large downloads will take some time.

The SCTP web site is now SCTP equipped| If you have download the mozilla browser from the download page and if you are using the BSD version of SCTP; you should be able to access this page via SCTP.

A new sctp-impl mailing list hosted by Cisco Systems has been formed.

The mailing list archive can be found here and is updated once an hour.
